Host an EASL School in 2028

EASL Schools bring together up to 25 young investigators with leading experts for an intensive, learner-centred programme built around a topic of the host’s choosing. They are one of the most direct ways EASL supports the next generation of hepatologists, and past organisers consistently describe them as a highlight of their academic year.

As former EASL School organiser stated:
”Organising an EASL School gave us the opportunity to bring together an international group of young hepatologists and leading experts in a setting that encouraged discussion, exchange of ideas and interaction beyond traditional lectures. Hosting an EASL School is a great opportunity to contribute to education in hepatology while also building connections that extend beyond the event itself.”

Who can apply: Any EASL member based at a European centre of excellence able to host plenary and breakout sessions. Regional collaborations are encouraged, and co-organisers are welcome as internal faculty.

What EASL provides: A dedicated budget, plus guidance and support from the EASL office once a proposal is selected.
